Fawn Mckay

Fawn MCK Brodie was born on September 15th, 1915 in Ogden Utah. Reared in the Mormon Church's first family Fawn McKay was able to direct her innovative literary talents and remarkable research skills to creating the brilliant psycho-historical biography of Joseph Smith, published in 1945 under the title The Only Man Knows My History. The title came from a funeral sermon delivered by the founding father of the Church of Latter-Day Saints in 1844 when he startled those he addressed with the words"You don't know me" you never knew my heart. My story is not known to anybody. The truth is I'm not even sure. Fawn has written the 29-year-old Fawn. Since then the three authors have stood up to the task. A lot of them have denigrated him and while others have glorified him. some have even attempted to make a diagnostics. It's not that documents are lacking the issue is that they're wildly contradictory. It is a matter of separating personal testimony from third party fraud and then blending Mormon and non-Mormon narratives into a coherent historical facts. This is fascinating and educational. Fawn brodie was highly committed to the task. Thaddeus Stevens. Stevens is immortalized in her writing and by the results of her studies. Scourge of the south (1959) The Devil Drives. The Story of Sir Richard Burton (1967) Thomas Jefferson. A Personal History of Richard Nixon (1974) as also posthumously Richard Nixon.
