Anya Taylor-Joy
Anya Taylor Joy, a half-Spanish and half-English woman was born on April 16th, 1997 in Miami Florida. The daughter of Dennis Alan Taylor, a former banking executive and Jennifer Marina Joy, a psychologist named Anya Taylor-Joy. She is an Argentinean of Scottish, English and Argentinean heritage. Her mother is of Spanish as well as English descent. The Taylor-Joy family was a family of six children. Four of her siblings are from the previous marriage to Taylor's father. They lived in Buenos Aires until she was six, after which they moved to the Victoria area of London. Taylor Joy says that moving to England was extremely stressful. She refused to learn English and believed she would be able to return to Argentina. Hill House became her school of choice after Taylor-Joy was ordered to move schools. Then she attended Queen's Gate School in London, where she took ballet classes as well as participated in the drama department. At the age of 16, she dropped out of school in order to take on a full-time job in acting. Taylor-Joy was born to be an actress at a young age. She realized her dream after Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a modelling job.
