Selena Marie Gomez, /s@'li?n@ /goUmez/s@-LEEn@ GoOHmez, was born on the 22nd of July 1992. She is an American singer, actress and producer. Gomez's acting career began in the television show for children called Barney & Friends (1902-2004). Her fame grew for her role as Alex Russo, a teenage star on the Disney Channel television show Wizards of Waverly Place (2007-12). She is also a part of the Hulu mystery-comedy series Only Murders in the Building (21-21-222). The latter received Gomez not only praise from critics but also nominations for the Golden Globe Award, and as a producer and producer, a Primetime Emmy Award . She has been honored with numerous accolades, such as being named Woman of the Year by Billboard in 2017. In 2017, she also broke fifteen Guinness World Records. Time magazine named Her one of the top 100 people on the planet in 2020. Her social media following is massive and she's also the most popular actor and performer on Instagram. Gomez has launched fragrance, cosmetics, and handbag lines. She has worked with several charitable organizations and served as an UNICEF ambassador since she was 17 years old.
